Ready to learn the game? Our signature foundations series is designed specifically for beginners and will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of mahjong in a fun, supportive and social environment. Along the way, you'll become part of the Mahjong Social House community - a welcoming place to learn, gather, play and build meaningful connections around the table.

Over three instructional classes you will learn:

• Tile identification and recognition
• Reading and understanding how to decipher the National Mah Jong League Card
• The Charleston and passing strategies
• Hand building and understanding game flow
• Essential rules, strategies and proper game etiquette and much more!

The series concludes with a special Graduation Guided Play Session, where you put all your new skills to practice with instructor support and gain confidence to play.
